On the other hand, web development means the codes that help to make a website tick. It is divided into two categories – front-end and back-end. The front-end will determine how the designs will actually be displayed mocked up by the designer. The back-end is responsible for managing the data and serving it to the front-end to be displayed.

Control: Website design has its control over everything which is associated with the visual great style, design, and layout. However, website development makes a website perfect by controlling its code panel.

Types: There are three types of website design – UI, UX, and visual designs. While, website development is of two types, i.e., front-end and back-end.

Technical knowledge: Web developers should have a piece of good technical knowledge as their work is to make a website. And for website design, the designers are not required to have full knowledge. Some basic knowledge can be enough for them.

Tools: There is the use of programming languages under website development, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the creation of a good website. On the other hand, website design is not responsible for code work. However, its focus is to have a pleasing and user-friendly website for its visitors. So, the tools required are Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Inkscape, and GIMP.
