As we all know that Instagram has become one of the biggest hubs for influencers and creators and has different revenue-earning ways such as brand collaborations and advertisements, therefore it is preparing to launch its subscriptions that will allow the users to pay for exclusive content from their favorite creators.
It is a Facebook-owned social media app and is testing a subscription feature for the creators to make them earn money. This new Instagram subscription comes under the category of the “In-App Purchases” section for the storing list of Instagram app.
The subscription of Instagram is priced from $0.99 to $4.99. This price of the subscription is in the US and the same is also available in the App Store in India which will have a monthly subscription of Rs. 89. It is expected that the subscription of Instagram is similar to that of Twitter Blue, i.e., fans here can get access to exclusive tweets and other content.
Fans only have to subscribe and will get easy access to exclusive content like stories and live videos. It also has a good option for creators that they can keep a tab on their earnings, active members, and an expired membership. They can also customize the name of their subscription and price however, their fans can cancel them anytime.
Instagram is the best mobile app for different revenue earnings as its subscription will involve more fans for the creators. It has been heard that Instagram is also testing a subscribe button to appear on the creator’s account.
This new feature will target the power users such as verified creators, news organizations, brands, and digital marketing agencies. This would be a great tool to monetize the platform as creators then will be able to earn money via different methods.
